Choosing the Right Bunkhouse Layout

Not all bunk models are created equal. Depending on your family size and towing capacity, you can choose between two distinct styles found on our lot in Carleton Place:

1. Rear Bunkhouse (The "Kids' Zone")

The classic family layout. These units feature a dedicated room at the back of the RV with multiple bunks, often including a sofa that converts to a bed. This effectively gives your children their own 2-bedroom apartment on wheels.

Best for: Large families, sleeping 4+ kids.
Popular Models: Forest River Sandpiper and Salem Hemisphere.

2. Mid-Bunk (The "Bonus Room")

Rapidly becoming the most popular floorplan for modern RVers. The bunk room is located in the middle of the coach (off the kitchen). It creates a loft sleeping area above it and a private room below.

Best for: Families who need a separate office space or guest room that doesn't feel like a "kids' room."

Towing & Four-Season Capabilities

Many of our bunkhouse fifth wheels, particularly the Grand Design lineups, are rated for four-season living, featuring heated underbellies and superior insulation for late-fall camping in Ontario.
