RV Management Program FAQ’s!

Q: WHAT IS THE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM?

The Management Program is designed to allow you, as a new RV purchasers; the ability to derive substantial rental income while retaining the ability to use the RV when you want! You supply the new RV – we do the rest!

Q: WHY BIG COUNTRY RV?

Big Country RV acts as a Management Company for the RV Management Program – to promote, manage rentals, and maintain your RV. As a leading RV rental company in Manitoba, we’ve quickly established a reputation for having the nicest fully equipped rental fleet in North America and a level of service that is unparalleled in the industry.

Q: WHEN CAN I USE MY RV?

Simple – all you have to do is give us a call and reserve it! Our staff will prepare the unit for you and give you the same full service that we offer our rental clients (of course at a reduced cost to you). Just keep in mind that when you’re using your RV it won’t be generating rental revenue for you, we suggest reserving early and reducing your level of use during the peak rental season to maximize revenue potential.

Q: HOW AM I PAID MY PORTION OF THE RENTAL REVENUE?

After each and every month a statement is mailed to you detailing your units rental use including: days of use, kilometers and rental revenue generated. Included with the statement is a cheque for your portion of the rental revenue

Q: DO I PAY GST & PST ON THE PURCHASE OF MY NEW RV?

PST is charged to the ultimate consumer of the product – the renter, therefore you will not need to pay PST on the initial purchase of your RV. GST is charged on the initial purchase of the RV but will be remitted to you after you register for your GST number.

Q: WILL MY RV BE IN ROUGH SHAPE AFTER RENTAL USE?

NO. As a management program member your unit will be fully maintained and serviced by Big Country RV. You will never see a service invoice while your units on the fleet. Our service team ensures the highest standards of maintenance; in fact, your RV will likely be in better condition after three years on the program than an RV in private use.

Q: COULD I SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO’S CURRENTLY ON THE PROGRAM?

Absolutely, we wear our reputation on our sleeve and we want you to be comfortable with the program and your purchase. References are available upon request.

Q: HOW LONG IS MY RV ON THE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM?

In order to maintain an up to date fleet and to satisfy rental requests for new RV’s we limit the program to 3 years per unit. We also have a 4th year option to give us the ability to maintaining our fleet size in the event of our ever increasing rental business.
